Shane attended the University of Utah, graduating as a Lowell L. Bennion Service Learning Scholar with a degree in Political Science (English minor). He attended Cornell Law School in New York, where he served on the Cornell Law Review. Shane also worked as an extern for Chief Judge Frederick Scullin, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. After law school, Shane worked as a corporate defense attorney at the corporate law firms of Snell & Wilmer and DLA Piper. Shane gave up his corporate defense practice to help seriously injured people put their lives back together. He accepted a position with a national personal injury law firm, serving as the firm’s managing attorney for the Intermountain region. In that position, he litigated complex personal injury actions across Utah and Arizona. Shane subsequently founded Gosdis Law to focus on representing seriously injured people in Utah. Shane leverages his corporate defense background to maximize recoveries for his clients throughout Utah and Arizona. Shane received a perfect 10 rating from the attorney rating service Avvo. Shane is highly engaged in community service, including an appointment by Governor Herbert to the Utah Museum Board and serves on the Executive Committee for the Litigation Section of the Utah State Bar. Shane works relentlessly to help inured cyclists put their lives back together. He grew up mountain and road biking throughout Utah, including competing in triathlons across the State. He knows from experience how much trust cyclists place is motor vehicles on the roadway. When they violate that trust and injure a defenseless cyclist, Shane will stop at nothing to get justice for his clients.


Shane has recovered millions and millions of dollars for clients throughout Utah and Arizona. He has significant complex litigation and trial experience, which has allowed him to consistently obtain significant recoveries for his clients. As a result.
