At Bike Legal, we are more than just a personal injury law firm—we are passionate cyclists committed to supporting the cycling community. Our dedication extends beyond legal services to actively fostering the growth of the sport we love. That's why in 2024, we proudly launched our Junior Cycling Grant Program.
This cycling grant program is designed to assist the next generation of cyclists by providing financial support to young riders across the United States. Whether you’re a budding road racer, mountain biker, gravel rider, or track cyclist, we’re here to help.
The cycling grant money can be used for purchasing bikes, cycling gear, paying for race fees, or coaching sessions. Our goal is to remove financial barriers so that kids under 18 can focus on what they love—riding and racing.
Cycling has the power to shape lives, build character, and instill a lifelong passion for fitness and adventure. However, the costs associated with competitive cycling can be daunting for many families. Through the Junior Cycling Grant Program, we aim to ease this burden, ensuring that financial limitations don’t stand in the way of a young rider’s potential.
The Bike Legal Junior Cycling Grant is available to young cyclists across the United States, regardless of discipline or skill level.
To be eligible, applicants must be under 18 years old and hold a current racing license or be affiliated with a cycling club.
We welcome applications from riders of all backgrounds who are committed to their cycling journey and in need of financial assistance to reach their goals.
RESTRICTIONS: 2024 grant recipients are not eligible for 2025 grants.
In 2025, Bike Legal will award up to $500 to each winning essay, with a total of $5,000 available for distribution throughout the year. This bicycle grant can be used for purchasing bikes, equipment, training fees, race fees, and other cycling-related expenses.
The application window for the 2025 calendar year opens on December 17th, 2024, and closes on November 1, 2025, or when all funds have been allocated.
A committee at Bike Legal will carefully review all applications. Grant recipients will be chosen based on the quality and merit of their submissions. Once an application is received, our committee will evaluate it, and a decision will be made within 30 days. The selected grantee will be notified via the email provided.
The grant funds must be used specifically for cycling-related expenses, such as equipment purchases, training fees, and race entry fees.
At Bike Legal we believe supporting young cyclists today means a stronger, more vibrant cycling community tomorrow.
We invite you to learn more about our Junior Cycling Grant Program and see how you can get involved- whether by applying, spreading the word, or joining our efforts to support the future of cycling.
